As Womankind’s Individual Giving Manager, I am responsible for growing Womankind’s individual supporter base, welcoming new supporters to the organisation and keeping them updated on how their support is changing women’s lives across the world.
I have worked in direct marketing for a number of charities in the last eight years, including The Children’s Society, Leonard Cheshire Disability and Action Against Hunger.
In that time direct mail has been one of the methods used for the acquisition and retention of individual donors. I have also managed face-to-face fundraising (private site and a dedicated team), emergency press ad campaigns, telemarketing programmes, door drops, insert campaigns and online fundraising.
I am passionate about building strong relationships with supporters by valuing them as individuals, writing compelling copy using excellent design and building networks in the sector.
I am currently covering a maternity cover - so will be looking for a new challenge in July 2019.
